In a Night: Apologetics
“In a Night” Seminars are 6 hour long seminars focused on one primary subject. The Apologetics seminar spends the entire evening equipping people to be defenders of the faith and providing biblical answers to questions and views that are prevalent in our culture today.
The Apologetics seminar is presented in a question and answer format and covers the following questions:
- Truth:
- What is a biblical worldview?
- What is truth? and isn’t what I believe just as right as what you believe? Isn’t right and wrong subjective”
- God:
- Does God exist? Can you prove God exists?
- If God exists, what kind of God exists?
- Don’t all religions have some truth? Aren’t all religions essentially the same? Don’t they all lead to God?
- Jesus:
- Aren’t the stories of Jesus just a retelling of pagan myths?
- How do we know Jesus really existed and is God?
- How do we know Jesus rose from the dead?
- The Bible:
- How can we be sure that the Bible is the Word of God? Isn’t the Bible just lie other sacred writings like the Qur’an?
- How can we be sure that the Bible is the same as it was when it was written?
- How do we know that we have all the inspired word and that there aren’t other inspired writings?
- Isn’t the Bible full of contradictions? Doesn’t the Bible make a lot of unscientific claims?
- Doesn’t the Bible promote genocide and slavery?
- Creation/Evolution
- Ethics:
- Aren’t Christians inconsistent because they “pick and choose which rules in the Bible to obey”?
- Is Abortion really murder?
- If life is sacred why do Christians support Capital Punishment?
- Does the Bible really say homosexuality is wrong? Does the Bible really support 2 genders?
- Suffering:
- Why does God allow innocent people to suffer?
